Common Sights of Charging Devices in Public

At a 5 star hotel lobby, a video camera is left on the table to be charged by one of the tourist.

Outside the drop off zone of the airport, a mobile phone is left to be charged at the risk of being stolen.

Free Universal Gadget Charger

How does a free universal gadget charger for your mobile phones, PDA, digital camera and gaming devices sound to you?

The only thing is you cannot carry it around you and you have to leave your devices locked in it, hold on to the key that had been left attached to the lock, leave your mobile phone with many missed calls and risk your device being stolen in it.

Despite the drawbacks, compartment 1, 3 and 4 had been taken and I could have the mobile phone ringing in it with a familar Nokia ringtone.

Putting Apple under the Sun

Apple had filed a patent to incorporate their products with solar cells, ie, "solar cells on portable devices". This come at a time when going green is in.

I can't wait to see these "Green Apples" in the market, be it iPod, iPhone or MacBooks, lying under the sun to get a good tan and risk being stolen.

iPhone in Asian regions this year

It was reported (San Francisco/Singapore- Reuters) that Apple is to launch iPhone in 4 regions in Asia- Singapore, India, Philippines and Australia later this year. The spokeswomen decline to comment on its plan to bring iPhones to China and Japan.

There are already a handful of power bank for iPhone in the market, some of which are questionable in quality and performances:-

1. Morphie
2. Kensington
3. XPAL Power
4. PowerRush
5. Wagons
6. Tecyea

I'm sure there are more out there and would like to urge those who are using or have seen other brands to share information here.

I recommend WWI (Works with iPhone) products, especially when it comes to battery because it gives me peace of mind. Why get a Ferrari and fit it with inferior tyres?

This blog is created to allow consumers to make informed choices for the availability of universal power banks, back-up batteries and emergency chargers in the market.

As such, I would hope to have the voices from consumers who have bought these products to share their views in the pros and cons of the products they have purchased and share this information with people who have not or going to invest in one of these products.

In addition, I would like to have technical questions about battery life, charging-discharging issues, products features to be answered here.
